Make sure you stay in the double room with the lovely balcony. I loved efficient and well-mannered personnel that ensures guests have an excellent stay. All in all they offer very good service. Besides, you can park your car on-site. The location is marvellous and the food is awesome.

The bed was super comfy, slept like a baby! Loved the sound of the weir outside. The staff were chill and helped us find a good spot to sit. Also the beer selection was great, they brew their own! Nice vibe overall.
But the room was small and the shower was tiny. Had to wait a while for our food at dinner and breakfast, was kinda annoying.

Excellent on-site brewery with a superb range of gluten-free options. The staff was attentive, and the food was fantastic, especially the scrambled eggs. Although the atmosphere was homey, it's a good idea to book a table for dinner, as nearby alternatives are limited.

I really enjoyed my stay here, especially sipping coffee on the lovely balcony while watching horses in the fields. There’s also a nice sun terrace and a peaceful garden area that were perfect for unwinding. The only downside was the low ceiling in my room, but it didn’t ruin my experience at all. ☕

I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere at Watermill Inn & Brewery. The decor felt warm and cute. Our room was clean and the bedding was really comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep. The food exceeded my expectations. Both dinner and breakfast had generous portions and great flavors. I particularly loved the steak pie. The staff were great. I did face some inconveniences. There was a strong smell of wet dog in the room, quite off-putting. The bathroom lacked proper heating. One morning, the extractor fan outside made it impossible to open the window until it turned off. I also noticed that check-in was a bit confusing and slow. More seating options in the dining area would be nice for comfort. It was a nice stay, but those small issues could use some attention.

missingWrote a review on 07 Julcozy environmentlocally brewed aleslarge portionsdining comfort
The cozy ambience created a home-like feel, improved with the charming decor throughout the hotel. Unique locally brewed ales stole the show, and the large portion sizes meant you wouldn't leave hungry, especially after enjoying the hearty steak pie.
The dining area felt less comfortable than expected due to hard seating and bare tables, not encouraging extended meals. During my visit, the wait times for meals were notably long-especially at breakfast-which dampened the experience a little. There seemed to be a limited evening menu as well, a factor that could affect dining choices wanting variety.
